Luceto Windows & Doors
Limited Warranty
Residential Consumer Legal Rights Notice. This document is a Limited Warranty. It is intended to apply to both residential consumer and commercial purchases, but some rights, remedies, limitations, exclusions, and dispute terms may vary by state, transaction type, and applicable law. For residential consumer purchases, nothing in this Limited Warranty waives, limits, or reduces any right that cannot be waived under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, FTC rules, state consumer-protection law, home-solicitation law, home-improvement law, construction law, or other applicable law. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Read this entire Limited Warranty before purchasing, installing, using, transferring, modifying, repairing, or requesting service for any Luceto product. The summary below is for convenience only; the full terms, conditions, exclusions, and claim process control.

Warrantor; Covered Products
This Limited Warranty is provided by BlueTape Xchange Inc. ("BTX") for eligible Luceto-branded windows and exterior doors purchased from BTX or an authorized Luceto seller and installed in the United States at the original project location (the "Products").
BTX may suspend performance of warranty service for affected Product(s) while undisputed amounts owed to BTX for those Product(s), the related order, or the related project remain unpaid beyond applicable payment terms. Warranty coverage will resume once those undisputed amounts are paid. BTX will not deny otherwise valid warranty coverage based solely on a good-faith dispute regarding unrelated products, projects, invoices, or charges.
No dealer, distributor, sales representative, installer, contractor, architect, employee, or other person may change this Limited Warranty or make additional warranty promises for BTX unless the change is in a written document signed by an authorized BTX officer.
Important Definitions
Warranty Start Date and Transfer Rules
Warranty periods are measured from the Warranty Start Date. Repair, replacement, inspection, or service does not restart, renew, or extend any warranty period.
Only coverage expressly marked "Transferable" in the Warranty at a Glance chart transfers to a Subsequent Owner. Nontransferable coverage belongs only to the covered original owner for the applicable coverage category.
For Nonlaminated IG glass only, the nontransferable Limited Lifetime coverage for an original owner-occupied single-family purchaser and the nontransferable 20-year Commercial coverage automatically convert for Subsequent Owners to a transferable 10-year warranty measured from the Warranty Start Date. Transfer does not create a new warranty period.
4. Exterior Aluminum Cladding Finish Coverage
5. Glass Coverage
6. Hardware, Gaskets, Weatherstripping, and Non-Glass Functional Components
7. Limited Labor Coverage and Shipping
During the first two (2) years after the Warranty Start Date, BTX will cover reasonable BTX-performed or BTX-approved labor for covered warranty repairs or replacements. Labor must be approved in writing by BTX before the cost is incurred unless emergency temporary measures are permitted under Section 13.
After the two-year labor period, this Limited Warranty covers only covered replacement Products, parts, or components, unless BTX agrees otherwise in writing. BTX is not responsible for third-party labor, contractor charges, investigation costs, demolition, access equipment, scaffolding, lifts, crane service, security, permits, finishes, drywall, trim, stucco, siding, paint, flooring, tile, millwork, landscaping, disposal, or other costs associated with accessing, removing, reinstalling, finishing, refinishing, or protecting the Product or surrounding areas.
For two (2) years from the Warranty Start Date, no shipping charge will be charged to the consumer for a replacement Product or component provided under this Limited Warranty.
8. Exclusive Warranty Remedy
If BTX determines that a timely claim is covered, BTX will provide one or more of the following remedies, at BTX's sole option: (a) adjustment, repair, or service of the affected Product or component; (b) replacement of the defective component; (c) replacement of the affected Product with the same or a reasonably similar current Product; or (d) refund or credit not exceeding the original purchase price paid to BTX for the affected Product or component, less prior warranty benefits provided.
Replacement Products and components may not exactly match the original in color, finish, glass appearance, grille pattern, hardware version, profile, dimension, supplier, specification, performance rating, or appearance because products, finishes, components, and suppliers change over time.
Any repaired or replacement Product or component is warranted only for the remainder of the original applicable warranty period.
9. Installation, Building Design, and Moisture Management
The Product must be installed, handled, stored, finished, protected, operated, and maintained in accordance with BTX/Luceto written instructions, approved shop drawings, project-specific requirements, industry best practices, and applicable building codes.
Because all construction must anticipate some water infiltration, the wall system must be designed and constructed to properly manage moisture. The determination of suitability, code compliance, product selection, rough opening preparation, structural support, flashing, sealing systems, drainage, waterproofing, air/water barrier integration, and moisture management is the responsibility of the purchaser, user, owner, builder, architect, engineer, contractor, installer, and/or other construction professional, and not BTX, unless BTX has expressly contracted in writing to provide that specific service.
10. Owner Care and Maintenance Requirements
Proper care and maintenance are required to preserve warranty coverage and product performance. The Owner must follow the Luceto Care & Maintenance Guide applicable to the Products at the time of purchase.
The Owner may request a free hard copy by contacting BTX at support@bluetapex.com, 855-428-1185, or the warranty-claim address stated in this Limited Warranty.
Minimum maintenance frequency: standard inland residential/commercial environments — at least annually; industrial, polluted, high-use, construction-adjacent, or dusty environments — at least quarterly; Coastal/Corrosive Environments and marine/salt-spray exposures — at least monthly and after major salt, storm, construction, or pollution exposure.
Maintenance should include inspection and gentle cleaning of frames, cladding, glass, hardware, gaskets, weatherstripping, sill tracks, weep holes, drainage paths, and exposed components using fresh water and mild neutral detergent.
Do not use abrasive pads, steel wool, razor blades, acids, alkalis, solvents, harsh chemicals, brick wash, cement removers, high-pressure water jets, or incompatible cleaning products.
11. Exclusions — What This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover
This Limited Warranty does not cover any condition, defect, damage, cost, loss, or claim caused in whole or in part by any of the following:
- Normal wear and tear, normal aging, normal fading, normal chalking, normal weathering, normal color variation, ordinary deterioration, minor cosmetic issues, or minor imperfections that do not materially impair function.
- Installation inconsistent with BTX/Luceto instructions, approved drawings, building codes, industry best practices, or accepted construction practice.
- Improper storage, handling, jobsite protection, installation, finishing, use, adjustment, maintenance, cleaning, repair, modification, operation, or removal.
- Nonfactory-applied finishes, applied sealants, caulking, field sealants, field mulls, field glazing, field-applied coatings, paints, stains, films, tints, sensors, security systems, or attachments.
- Flashing, waterproofing, drainage, sealant joints, air/water barrier integration, wall systems, roof systems, decks, balconies, masonry, stucco, EIFS or barrier wall systems, siding, trim, drywall, flooring, or other surrounding building components.
- Structural settlement, movement, vibration, racking, deflection, substrate failure, out-of-square openings, nonvertical/sloped/upside-down installation, or use outside design parameters.
- Water infiltration other than water infiltration caused solely by a covered manufacturing defect in the Product.
- Condensation, frost, mold, mildew, fungus, indoor humidity, HVAC conditions, temperature differentials, or failure to maintain appropriate humidity and ventilation.
- Acts of God and external events, including fire, flood, windstorm, hurricane, tornado, hail, lightning, earthquake, freeze, explosion, civil disturbance, war, terrorism, vandalism, impact, forced entry, or other events beyond normal product use.
- Corrosion, staining, pitting, finish damage, or deterioration caused by salt, sand, industrial pollutants, acid rain, chemicals, pool/hot-tub/sauna/greenhouse environments, high moisture, abrasive materials, cleaning products, construction residue, landscaping chemicals, or corrosive substances, except to the limited extent expressly covered for standard exterior aluminum cladding finish.
- Glass breakage not caused by a covered manufacturing defect, scratches after delivery, glass imperfections consistent with industry standards, minor color variation, distortion, and changes that do not significantly obscure vision or impair structural integrity.
- Argon or inert gas quantity, percentage, dissipation rate, or continued thermal-performance level after manufacture; NFRC, WDMA, AAMA, energy, structural, or performance ratings as future performance guarantees.
- Screens, screen mesh tears, and fall-prevention claims; screens are not designed to prevent falls and are not a substitute for supervision or code-compliant fall protection.
- Failure to promptly mitigate damage after a known or reasonably visible problem.
- Products removed from the original installation location, Products with altered or removed labels/identifiers, or Products for which reasonable proof of purchase, Warranty Start Date, location, ownership, and maintenance cannot be provided.
- Products not paid for in full, obsolete/discontinued parts except as separately stated by BTX in writing, non-Luceto products, and any matter excluded elsewhere in this Limited Warranty.
12. Warranty Claim Procedure
To make a claim, the claimant must notify BTX within the applicable warranty period and within 1 year after the alleged defect is discovered or reasonably should have been discovered.
The claimant must give BTX a reasonable opportunity to inspect, test, document, and attempt repair before the claimant performs permanent repair, replacement, removal, alteration, or destructive investigation.

13. Emergency Temporary Measures
If immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent injury or additional property damage, the Owner may take temporary emergency measures. The Owner should document the condition with photos/video before and after the temporary measures and notify BTX as soon as reasonably possible.
14. Limitations of Liability and Implied Warranties
Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
15. No Future Performance Warranty; Certifications and Ratings
This Limited Warranty is not a statement of the useful life of any Luceto Product and is not a warranty of future performance. It is only a warranty to provide the limited remedies stated in this document for covered defects reported within the applicable warranty period.
Any WDMA, NFRC, AAMA/FGIA, energy, air, water, structural, acoustic, impact, code, or similar certification, label, simulation, laboratory test, or product rating reflects the conditions, samples, configuration, and standards used for that rating.
16. No Waiver; No Oral Modification; Entire Limited Warranty
BTX may, at its discretion, provide troubleshooting, customer service, goodwill assistance, or benefits beyond the strict terms of this Limited Warranty. Any such assistance applies only to the specific instance in which it is provided.
This Limited Warranty may be modified only by a written document signed by an authorized BTX officer.
17. Dispute Terms; Residential Consumer Rights; Commercial Forum and Waivers
This Section applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and does not limit any nonwaivable consumer right or remedy.
18. Severability
If any provision of this Limited Warranty is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
19. Owner Acknowledgment
By purchasing, installing, accepting, using, transferring, or requesting service for a Luceto Product, the Owner acknowledges that this Limited Warranty is part of the terms of sale and that coverage depends on the terms, conditions, exclusions, notice requirements, maintenance requirements, and remedy limits stated in this document, subject to any nonwaivable rights under applicable law.
